Community Development Agency

The County of Marin is responsible for ensuring compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). NEPA applies to local projects that are awarded federal grant funds from HUD. Such funds include Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) grants. Refer to the Code of Federal Regulations (24 CFR Part 58) for more information about the NEPA process.
