Low-Carbon Concrete Requirements
Community Development Agency
All building project applicants, contractors, and concrete suppliers are required to comply with low carbon concrete code in keeping with Title 19 Marin County Building Code, Chapter 19.07 - Carbon Concrete Requirements. Compliance includes two pathways to reduce carbon or greenhouse gas emissions by reducing cement levels or supplementing lower-emission cementitious materials in concrete designs.
If you have any questions about Marin County's Low Carbon Concrete policy, contact greenbuilding@marincounty.org or call us at (415) 473-2797.
