California Retail Food Code (a.k.a. CalCode)

California Cottage Food Law aka California Homemade Food Act (AB1616)

This law allows retail sales of limited food items prepared in a home. For more information regarding the law, please review the actual text of AB 1616 or refer to CalCode starting with Section 114365. You may review the Frequently Asked Questions in English and/or Spanish.

California Latex Glove Safety Law, Senate Bill (SB) 677

This law prohibits the use of latex gloves or utensils in all food service operations and retail food facilities.
