Beach Water Quality Information

The Marin County Environmental Health Services is pleased to announce the recommencement of our beach monitoring program for the 2024 season. This program plays a critical role in safeguarding public health by routinely assessing the bacteriological quality of our coastal waters. Our dedicated team has resumed weekly water sampling at designated beaches. This monitoring will continue throughout the season, concluding at the end of October.

We encourage the public to stay informed about beach water quality conditions. We will be providing regular updates on test results through our official channels.
