The Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Dominion Voting Systems, Inc. on June 4, 2019, authorizing the Elections Department to purchase the Democracy Suite 5.2 Voting System.

The County of Marin's Election Department is implementing the new voting system, this page is intended to provide information and updates about our progress.

For several weeks, we will be testing the new system
(hardware and software) and training staff on its use.

Voting system implementation Timeline. June 2019 thorugh October 2019. 1. Equipment delivery. 2. Install and test ADA ballot marking devices. 3. Install and test server/tabulation equipment. 4. Ballot handling training. 5. ADA system operator training.
