Public Comment

Lynda Roberts, Registrar of Voters, Elections

The Election Advisory Committee was established by the Registrar of Voters and acts in an advisory capacity to the Registrar of Voters. The Registrar of Voters and the Advisory Committee welcomes public input and has set forth the following policy for such input at its regular meetings.

Members of the public may speak on any item on the Election Advisory Committee’s agenda for no more than 3 minutes per speaker. The Registrar of Voters may limit the amount of public input by non-committee members at regular committee meetings in the interest of proceeding with the agenda so that committee business can be accomplished by 11:30 AM on the day of the meeting. Members of the public are also welcome to submit their comments in writing. Issues raised by speakers or members of the committee may be discussed at the meeting if there is time, or referred to one of the subcommittees of the Election Advisory Committee.

Advance notice from speakers is appreciated. Please either email your Name, Contact Information, and Agenda Topic to the Registrar or fill out the Speaker Request Form and return it either before or on the day of the meeting.
