ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF MEASURE G
Measure G is not a new tax nor will it increase taxes
above the limits previously approved by the voters of
Marinwood Community Services District.
Every four years, the voters of Marinwood Community
Services District must pass this measure to authorize the
continued use of taxes it is already collecting designated
exclusively for Parks, Open Space and Street Landscape
Maintenance Services. Without this voter authorization,
not one cent of the taxes collected for these regarded
services can be applied to Marinwood’s appropriation
limit and thus spent as intended, even though the voters
have approved them, causing a severe reduction in funds
available to provide these valued resources to the local
Community.
A “YES” vote will last for four years, at the end of
which time the spending of park, open space and street
landscape maintenance funds must again be authorized.
Your Marinwood Community Services District Board
of Directors and Park & Recreation Commissioners urge
you to vote YES on Measure G.
