Election Day workers appointed to provide support at various polling places. The Elections Department appoints nine rovers that are assigned to visit a specific group of polling places (9 to 12 sites) throughout the day to provide support to poll workers. Rovers are deputized to uphold the laws by taking the oath from Article 20, Sec. 3a, of the California Constitution.
