The Central Collections Division was established in1994 to assist County departments to recover revenue on past due accounts. In 2010, the County Business License unit merged with Central Collections. At present, the duties of Central Collections are divided between billing services, collection of delinquent accounts for County departments, and issuing business licenses to businesses in the unincorporated areas of Marin County. Our main objective is to serve the community to resolve payables owed to the County and to assist the public in obtaining County business licenses in compliance with Marin County Ordinance 3042, Title 5.
