The Department offers a variety of internships in fire-related work. Many of these opportunities are offered through educational institutions to those who are interested in pursuing a career as a firefighter. Please contact us for additional information.

Seasonal fire fighters augment professional firefighters to carry out functions such as hoselays, handline construction, and backfires during fire season, when fire danger is greatest. If you're interested in seasonal fire work, please send us an email expressing your interest.
