Looking to buy a used car or tractor? It’s easy with just the click of a computer key. The County of Marin’s Department of Public Works Purchasing Division is auctioning surplus vehicles and equipment through June. 8.
Items include a couple of sedans, SUVs, and a front-loading tractor with a backhoe. Items will be auctioned on Public Surplus, an online marketplace dedicated to selling surplus government property to the public.
The sale closes at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8. Vehicles and equipment, along with their service records, can be viewed at the County of Marin Garage through Thursday, June 6, from noon to 3 p.m.
Log on to www.publicsurplus.com, then select Region, then California, then Agency, and look for the County of Marin.
All vehicles are sold “as is” and all sales are final. Please note that it is the bidder’s
responsibility to thoroughly check vehicle condition prior to purchasing.
