Name: Women of Abstraction

Schedule: Open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed weekends.

This exhibit features more than 40 abstract paintings by Marin County women.

Abstract art uses visual language of shape, form, color, and line to create a composition which exists independently from visual references in the world. Abstract Art is art that doesn’t look like real life and lets the viewer interpret the meaning.

Artists in this exhibit include Wendy Baker, Susan Doyle, Anne Faught, Swann Freslon, Terri Froelich, Bibby Gignilliat, Diane Green, Jan Gross, Katie Korotzer, Toni Littlejohn, Meg McCabe, Paula Valenzuela, Elaine West, Jane Wilson, and June Yokell.

Bartolini Gallery is located at 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael in the Exhibit Hall/Showcase Theater building.
