Job and Resource Fair Set for September 26

Annual employment event to take place both online and in Marin City

San Rafael, CA – Bay Area job hunters should mark their calendars for Tuesday, September 26. That’s the date of the fourth annual Marin City Job and Resource Fair, a conduit to connect with recruiters eager to hire top talent.

The fair will be in-person at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church (101 Donahue Street, Marin City) as well as online. Either way, prospective employees will have a great opportunity to market themselves and make a strong first impression.

The County of Marin is hosting the fair in partnership with the Marin City community and several nonprofit organizations. The agencies will assist job hunters with accessing employment resources, preparing for an interview, updating a resume, and dressing for success. The event will include employer booths, live music, activities for kids, and free food that afternoon between 3-7 p.m.

Organizers have compiled a list of agencies and employers participating in the fair. Walk-ups are welcome at the in-person fair, and registration is open for the online and in-person versions. Watch an introductory video on how to navigate the online fair and upload a resume.
