San Rafael, CA – Starting September 27, the Marin County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for appointments to the following special district boards of directors:
- Marin City Community Services District, one four-year seat (full term)
- Tomales Village Community Services District – one two-year seat (short term)
- Alto Sanitary District – one four-year seat (full term) and one two-year seat (short term)
- Strawberry Recreation District – one four-year seat (full term)
The open seats occurred because not enough candidates filed for the seats on the boards during the filing period before the November 8 election.
The application period ends at 5 p.m. Friday, October 21. The individuals appointed must be a registered voter in their respective district.
Full terms will end in December 2026 and short terms will end in December 2024.
