Open Seat on Tam Design Review Board

San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. January 31 for a seat on the Tamalpais Design Review Board (TDRB), which reviews and comments on land use issues in some unincorporated southern Marin neighborhoods. The appointing authority is the Marin County Board of Supervisors.

The TDRB serves as an advisory and resource body and liaison to the Board of Supervisors, the Community Development Agency, the Planning Commission, and the community. Members review and comment on discretionary land use and zoning applications and community plan amendments that are referred by the Community Development Agency.

TDRB members must reside within the planning area. However, one non-resident architect with special expertise relevant to the planning area may serve. Architects, construction or design professionals, real estate agents or brokers, landscape architects, engineers, business owners, or simply someone interested in serving their community, are invited to apply.
