San Rafael, CA – With the deadline fast approaching, now is the time to register to vote in the March 6 election if you live in the Kentfield School District. Voters can register at registertovote.ca.gov or fill out and mail a voter registration form, which must be postmarked on or before February 19. The election is about a funding measure for local schools.

Registrar of Voters, reminds voters that this is a vote-by-mail election so there are no polling places. However, voters may come to the Elections Department office at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael during regular business hours to vote. On Election Day, the office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Roberts has a few more reminders:
- If you miss the February 19 registration deadline, you may register online or in the Elections Department office, but you will have to vote in the Elections Department. Ballots cannot be mailed to those who register late.
- Be sure to sign your ballot envelope with your signature that matches your voter registration form.
- Starting February 20, a secure drop box will be located outside the Civic Center main entrance on Peter Behr Drive, and will be available through 8 p.m. Election Day.
