San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. March 2 for two seats on the Tamalpais Design Review Board. The appointing authority is the Marin County Board of Supervisors.
The board serves as an advisory and resource body and liaison to the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the Community Development Agency, the Planning Commission, and the community. Members review and comment on discretionary land use and zoning applications and community plan amendments within the Tamalpais Planning Area, which includes the unincorporated neighborhoods of Tamalpais Valley, Homestead Valley, Almonte, Muir Woods Park, and Tennessee Valley areas.
All Tam Design Review Board members must reside within the Planning Area. However, one non-resident architect with special expertise relevant to the Planning Area may serve. Residents with expertise as architects, construction or design professionals, real estate agents or brokers, landscape architects, engineers, business owners, or simply someone interested in serving their community, are invited to apply.
