San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. December 23 for a public member position on the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation Board of Directors. A term expiration has created the opening, and the Marin County Board of Supervisors will make the appointment.
The purpose of the district board is to provide safe, efficient, reliable means for the movement of people, goods and services within the Highway 101 / Golden Gate corridor. In carrying out that mission, the district operates and maintains the Golden Gate Bridge and provides public bus and ferry systems.
