Last-Minute Addition to Reggae Lineup at Fair

Fortunate Youth to replace Tribal Seeds at July 2 performance

San Rafael, CA – The Tribal Seeds show for tomorrow night at the Marin County Fair has been cancelled due to illness. However, there’s good news for fans and fair goers still wanting to get their reggae groove on tomorrow night: South Bay-based reggae band Fortunate Youth will replace them at the same 7:30p.m. show time.

Formed from the break-out stars from several Bay Area reggae bands, the 6-member Fortunate Youth brings a unique and contagious energy to stage that separates them from every other mainstream reggae band. True to their reggae roots, they keep the crowd dancing with unique bass lines united with multiple harmonies, boisterous guitar solos, and heavy keys. They have provided unforgettable shows to crowds throughout the country, and are slated to perform later this summer at large festivals such as Reggae on the River and KAABOO.

Ticket holders for the July 2 Tribal Seeds performance will be contacted via email for an opportunity to receive a full refund if they would like to opt of the Fortunate Youth performance.

Other headliners at the 74th Annual Marin County Fair include Kansas, La Misa Negra, The Marshall Tucker Band, Queen Nation, Pablo Cruise, Judy Collins, and Aaron Neville. The five-day community celebration runs from July 1-5 and features exhibits, family fun activities, rides, games, live performances and nightly fireworks. For more information visit marinfair.org
