San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. January 13, 2015, for two at-large seats on the Marin County Planning Commission to be appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors.
The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations to the Supervisors on all countywide and community plan elements and amendments, master plans, and rezonings. The commission has final authority (pending appeal to the Supervisors) on subdivisions, design reviews, use permits, and other planning decisions appealed from planning staff actions. The Commission also hears appeals of the findings of the Deputy Zoning Administrator and actions of County planning staff.
