San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Board of Supervisors is recruiting for a vacancy on the Flood Control Zone #4 Advisory Board for someone from the neighborhoods east of Strawberry and west of Tiburon.
Residents who live on both the north and south sides of Tiburon Boulevard about three-quarters of a mile east of Highway 101 are eligible to represent Flood Control Zone #4. The zone includes Strawberry Circle, Greenwood Cove and areas near Bel Aire Elementary School; it does not include the main part of Strawberry or downtown Tiburon.
This advisory board reviews all flood control projects and proposed annual budget for Flood Control Zone 4, and in both cases, advises the Department of Public Works and the Board of Supervisors of its findings.
