Trustees are appointees by the Marin County Board of Supervisors and reside in Marin County but are not connected with County government in any way. The Retirement Board administers the Marin County Retirement Association for County employees and contracting districts. The association's focus is the administration of retirement benefits, the investment of association assets and the actuarial funding of retirement programs.
