San Rafael, CA – Marin County residents living in the Inverness Public Utility District will have the opportunity to vote on a measure to adjust the district’s appropriations limit.
Written arguments for and against Measure A may be filed by the governing board, members of the board, bona fide associations of citizens, or any resident who is eligible to vote on the measure.
The deadline for filing arguments is 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 19. Completed submission and signature forms are required at the time of filing. Documents are available for public examination in the Marin County Elections Department for 10 days from the filing date.
The voter information guides and official ballots will be mailed together starting April 8. There are fewer than 500 registered voters living within the district as of the most recent voter roll. This is an all-mail ballot election, so there will be no polling places.
The Elections Department is in Suite 121 of the Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael. Weekday office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
