Pursuant to California Elections Code §15360, Marin County’s Elections Official will conduct a public manual tally of the ballots tabulated during the Statewide General Election held on November 6, 2018.
The purpose of the manual tally is to verify the accuracy of the automated count.
The random selection of 1% of the precincts and batches of vote-by-mail ballots to be tallied will take place on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Marin County Elections Department located in Suite 121, Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael, CA.
The manual tally of the precincts selected will begin on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 9 a.m.
