Apply to be Director on Special District Boards

Application period open September 15 through October 9

San Rafael, CA – Starting September 15, the Marin County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for appointment to the following special district boards of directors:

  • Tomales Village Community Services District
    • One 2-year seat, ending December 2017
    • One 4-year seat, ending December 2019
  • Stinson Beach Fire Protection District
    • One 4-year seat, ending December 2019
  • Alto Sanitary District
    • One 4-year seat, ending December 2019

The application period ends at 5 p.m. Friday, October 9. The individuals appointed must be registered voters in the district.

The vacancies occurred because no one filed for the open seats on the boards during the filing period before the November 3 election.

Applications are available beginning September 15 at the Marin County Board of Supervisors, Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 329, San Rafael, CA 94903, by calling 415-473-7331, or by sending an email to the Board of Supervisors. Applications can also be requested by emailing the districts:
