San Rafael, CA - Marin County’s Registrar of Voters, Lynda Roberts, is thanking more than 600 citizens who served at the polls and helped the Elections Office for the November 4 General Election.
“We greatly value the people who participate in the electoral process,” Roberts said. “The public’s involvement ensures that we can staff polling places and process the vote count in a timely manner on election night. It’s a long day for people, and I appreciate the spirit of service they bring to the job.”
After all ballots were processed, the turnout in Marin County ended up at 60.10 percent, the highest in the Bay Area. Now that the General Election has been certified, the team will start preparing for the 2015 election cycle, Roberts said.
