Project Description
The applicant, the Department of Public Works, requests Coastal Development Permit approval to install a freestanding LED electronic message sign at the county-owned and operated Tomales Fire Station. The sign face would be 7.5 feet long and 3.4 feet tall and 25.5 square feet. The structure would reach a maximum height of approximately 6.9 feet above existing grade.
Coastal Development Permit approval is required pursuant to Marin County Code Section 20.68.030 because the project entails proposed development in the Coastal zone not otherwise exempt from a Coastal Development Permit.
