Project Description
The applicant is requesting Temporary Use Permit approval to temporarily locate a 963 square foot sales trailer on a vacant lot in San Rafael, associated with the Oakview Master Plan. The project also includes a 12-foot 7-inch wall and a 14 foot tall covered patio. The temporary sales trailer appears to be 11 feet above surrounding grade and the exterior walls would have the following setbacks: 43 feet 6 inches from the southwestern front property line; 9 feet from the southeastern side property line; 17 feet 8 inches from the northwestern side property line; 60 feet 9 inches from the northeastern rear property line. Various site improvements would also be entailed in the proposed development, including landscaping, and retaining walls of an unknown height.
Temporary Use Permit approval is required pursuant to Section 22.50.020 of the Marin County Development Code because the project proposes a temporary use on a property subject to the development standards of the RMP-1.38 (Residential Multiple Family Planned) zoning district.
