Project Description
The applicant requests Tree Removal Permit approval for the removal of a total of 13 trees from the Meadow Club golf course located in an unincorporated area of Fairfax. The 13 trees proposed for removal are of heritage size as determined by the measurement of each tree’s Diameter at Breast Height (DBH). Of the 13 trees proposed for removal, six trees would be removed from the fairway between holes nine and ten, and seven trees would be removed between holes six and thirteen. The trees proposed for removal are listed in the table below.

Tree Removal Permit approval is required pursuant to Chapter 22.62.020 of the Marin County Code because the project entails the removal of trees that are of heritage size.
