Compensation Transparency

Mina Martinovich, Department of Finance

Public Pay Information

As required by Section 53908 of the California Government Code, annual compensation data, including salary and benefits, is reported to and available on the California State Controller’s website. Please note that while the County is required to submit this information each year to the State Controller’s Office, the State is responsible for updating their site with the most current information.

The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) regulation 18705.5 requires agencies to post information on-line which identifies additional compensation that officials receive when appointing themselves to positions on committees, boards, or commissions of a public agency, special district, or joint powers agency or authority. From time to time, the Board of Supervisors appoints members of its body to serve on governing boards on outside agencies. This information can be found on the Marin County Board of Supervisors Public Official Appointments page.

Further details on salary and benefit information by job classification can be found on the County of Marin’s Class Specification listings
