Done/doing update (March 1, 2023)

This is a recap of what we’ve done from January 18 – February 7 and what we’re working on next.

Done

Completed and launched home page with additional items in the footer such as ‘privacy policy’ page
Release communication plan for upcoming cohort departments
Presented demonstration of beta site and content authoring experience to the
communications working group
Built a content type for informational web pages (the most common type of page)
Finalized list of departments and implementation timeline for the next cohort

Continue writing new content for the Community Development Agency, Board of Supervisors, Information Services & Technology, and Cultural Services departments
Cohort A teams continue to analyze and review existing content and documents to prepare for transition to new site
Developers continue building back end architecture and single sign on functionality
Finalize page template layouts for information, event, action and meeting pages
Build new web pages for the County Administrator’s office and Information Services and
Technology to launch at end of month
Confirm with the selected departments on Cohort B implementation timeline and
resources
Develop a process for evaluating feedback on beta site
Researching accessibility testing vendors to assist with website usability testing
