A New Website for Marin County
We’re excited to announce a new initiative to create a new website for the County of Marin! Our mission: an accessible, helpful, and easy-to-use website for official County information and services.
Our website reflects our services. This project is an opportunity to digitally reflect our commitment to:
- Accessibility
- Equity
- Efficiency
- Customer service
- Digital service delivery
As a website user, we want to make sure your needs and ideas are reflected. Soon, we will start conducting user research followed by feedback on new design ideas. We’re partnering with Bloom Works, a women-owned digital services company that helps governments serve people better.
In tandem with the design work, we’ll also be exploring new content management systems. This is the tool we use internally to manage the website content.
We won’t have a new website overnight. We’ve intentionally created a thoughtful and inclusive process so we can design a site that reflects the needs of our community and serves us well into the future. We expect a phased implementation to begin in late Summer 2022.
