Vacancies on the Marin Women’s Commission

Candidates sought to represent District 1, 4, and 5

San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Board of Supervisors is seeking applications for District 1, District 4, and District 5 representatives on the Marin Women’s Commission (MWC).

The commission represents women and girls of diverse backgrounds and circumstances and advocates for equality through policy, education, and collaboration. The MWC is engaged activities to advance women’s equality and empowerment. It hosts the annual Marin Teen Girl Conference, the Women & Money Conference, and co-sponsors the Marin Women’s Hall of Fame. Each year the MWC focuses its efforts on different topics of importance to the community, and this year is concentrating its efforts on women’s leadership and economic empowerment.
