San Rafael, CA – The deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, November 29, to apply for a vacancy on the Advisory Board for Marin County Service Area (CSA) 18, which advises on park and recreation facilities projects in parts of northern San Rafael.
The board advises Marin County Parks and Open Space staff and the Board of Supervisors on projects and programs funded from the budget of CSA 18. Past topics considered by the advisory board include new picnic and landscape features at Adrian Rosal Park and new playground facilities at Pueblo Park.
Applicants must reside in the CSA 18 area, which includes the eastern sections of the Santa Venetia / Las Gallinas area of northern San Rafael. Residents who live south of Las Gallinas Creek and north of North San Pedro Road within CSA 18 are eligible to serve on the board.
