Tuesday, May 7 is Election Day

Ballots were mailed on April 8. The deadline for the Elections Office to receive voted ballots is May 7 at 8 PM. Voters may return their ballots by mail or in person. Voters should mail their ballots in time to for them to reach the Elections Office by 8 PM May 7. Postmarks don’t count.

Voters may also drop off their ballots or vote in person at the Elections Office in room 121 of the Marin Civic Center in San Rafael. Hours are weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. and on Election Day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

On Election Day only, Voters can drop off their ballots at the San Rafael City Clerk’s Office, 1400 Fifth Ave, Room 209, or at the Mill Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto. The drop-off sites will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM.
