The County affords equal employment opportunity to all qualified employees and applicants as to all terms and conditions of employment, including compensation, benefits, hiring, training, promotion, transfer, discipline, and termination.
The County’s Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Policy is the County’s policy against discrimination, harassment and retaliation in the workplace.
The EEOP memorializes the County’s commitment to equality in every aspect of the employment process. The EEOP identifies problem areas where there may be an impediment to equal employment opportunity(e.g. in hiring) and specifies how the County will address those problem areas.
The EEAC is a seven-member body appointed by the County’s Personnel Committee. The EEAC is responsible for the continuous monitoring of the County’s equal employment program and efforts.
