Done/doing update (May 17, 2022)

This is a recap of what we've done from May 4 – 17, 2022 and what we're working on next.

Done

Conducted three more user interviews with members of the community.
Conducted two more internal stakeholder interviews with County employees.
Promoted the website navigation survey to the public and County employees.
Compensated user research participants with gift cards. (County employees did not receive compensation.)
Continued to plan activities and resources for the implementation phase.
Conducted a survey with communications working group and executive steering committee about the overall design direction of the site.
Finished a draft report on findings from user interviews.
Started developing the content and style guides.
Created draft guiding principles.

Analyze results from the website navigation survey.
Share insights and recommendations from the user research findings with project team.
Get feedback from the communications working group on the draft guiding principles.
Identify pages for design concept mock-ups.
Continue refining the implementation plan, including site-specific content plans for Parks, Human Resources, and the Marin County Employee Retirement Association.
Finalize contract with recommended content management system vendor.
