This is a recap of what we've done from April 5 – April 18, 2022 and what we're working on next.
Done
- Conducted seven more user interviews with members of the community.
- Conducted eight more internal stakeholder interviews with County employees.
- Developed a landscape analysis to assess the current website's structure, strengths, weaknesses, audience demographics, and visitor patterns.
- Got feedback from County staff about phone calls from the public.
- Reviewed a mini synthesis of the initial research findings.
- Started developing website navigation survey and conducted initial accessibility testing.
- Created promotion materials for website navigation survey.
- Developed scope with the recommended content management system vendor.
- Started developing a cohort-based plan for implementation phase.
- Got feedback from communications staff about the user experience needs of the content management system interface.
Doing
- Continue to schedule and conduct interviews with community members and County employees.
- Continue synthesizing user research findings.
- Finish developing the website navigation survey.
- Conduct a full digital accessibility test of the website navigation survey.
- Get survey promotional materials translated.
- Promote survey to County employees and the community.
- Continue developing the implementation plan, including resources needed to support departments.
- Negotiate contract with recommended content management system vendor.
