Done/doing update (March 22, 2022)

This is a recap of what we've done from March 9 - 22, 2022 and what we're working on next.

Done

Explored "sandbox" environments of three content management systems to test user experience and accessibility.
Met with security and accessibility teams to review content management system evaluations.
The team reviewed decided on a product to recommend.
Identified user groups for interviews and organizations that serve the user groups.
Created interview participant interest form and consent form (reviewed for accessibility and translated in Spanish, Vietnamese).
Reached out to community organizations to connect with people willing to participate in interviews.
Finalized the process for providing compensation to community members who participate in user research activities.
Created user interview guide.
Learned about interview etiquette from the County’s Digital Accessibility manager.
Conducted our first internal stakeholder interview with the Elections department!

Start initial contract negotiations with the preferred content management system vendor.
Schedule and conduct interviews with community members and County employees.
Develop website navigation "tree test" survey and test for accessibility.
Start synthesizing user research findings.
