Headline Concerts Announced for Marin County Fair

Stellar lineup each evening June 30 through July 4; tickets on sale now

San Rafael, CA – Renowned for presenting world-class music, the Marin County Fair announces a stellar lineup of bands every night of the fair June 30 through July 4, all free with the price of general admission. *All artists subject to change.

Blue Öyster Cult

Friday, June 30, 7:30 p.m. 

Since 1972, Blue Öyster Cult has been traveling the world bringing their unique take on rock music with them. Their biggest hits with “(Don't Fear) The Reaper” and “Burnin’ For You,” both quintessential rock songs remain popular to this day.

Exposé

Saturday, July 1, 7:30 p.m.  

One of the most successful "girl groups" of all time, Exposé is known for its #1 Dance Chart Hit "Point of No Return" and several other well-known songs such as "I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me," "Come Go with Me," & "Seasons Change." This was the first group to have four top hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart from a debut album and the first female group to have seven back-to-back Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. 

Patti LaBelle

Sunday, July 2, 7:30 p.m.

Patti LaBelle has been called as the “Godmother of Soul.” Her career has spanned seven decades, and she has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. LaBelle has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame, and the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame. LaBelle was on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 100 Greatest Singers.

Stephen Marley

Monday, July 3, 7:30 p.m.

Stephen Marley is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer. From his solo works to family collaborations and production credits, his music has earned him eight Grammy Awards. He is the second eldest son of reggae legend Bob Marley and Rita Marley, raised in Kingston, Jamaica. He started singing professionally at 7 years old with his elder siblings Ziggy, Sharon, and Cedella in The Melody Makers.

Tuesday, July 4, 7:30 p.m.

Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female icons. Her 1988 critically acclaimed eponymous debut album was certified double platinum. Etheridge’s popularity built around such memorable songs as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy” for which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with the album, Yes I Am, featuring the hits “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing that brought her a second Grammy. Etheridge is also an Oscar winner for Best Original Song in 2007.

Fair Tickets on Sale Monday, May 15
Fairgrounds capacity will be limited each day of the fair to protect the quality of the fair experience for everyone. Tickets must be purchased in advance for a specific day. Fair tickets are available online only.

 If you plan to attend the fair on June 30, July 1, July 2, or July 3:

  • Purchase from May 15-31: ALL TICKETS $15
  • Purchase from June 1-29: ALL TICKETS $20
  • Purchase from June 30-July 3: ALL TICKETS $25

If you plan to attend the fair on July 4: ALL TICKETS $25

There are no early bird tickets for July 4. Buy early to guarantee tickets as capacity will be limited.

Admittance is FREE for children under 4 every day
Active-duty military get in FREE every day

SPECIAL DAY Friday, June 30

Ages 65 and over FREE

Veterans with ID FREE

All fair tickets must be purchased onlineThere are NO ticketing kiosks at the gates; a QR code to purchase tickets will be posted at all entry points.

All fair tickets include general admission to the headline concerts on a first-come, first-served basis. For a guaranteed seat in the reserved section for the headline concert, you must purchase Gold Circle tickets.

GOLD CIRCLE CONCERT TICKETS $60
Gold Circle tickets include general fair admission and guarantee you a seat in the reserved section of the Island Pavilion. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fair management reserves the right to move parties to ensure seating for everyone who has purchased a ticket in the reserved section.

There are NO discounts or early bird pricing available for Gold Circle tickets.
