Representative Needed from Indian Valley, Domingo Canyon

County Service Area #20 has opening on Advisory Board

San Rafael, CA – Residents of the Indian Valley/Domingo Canyon  unincorporated areas of District 5 near the Novato city limits are encouraged to apply for seats on the County Service Area (CSA) #20 Advisory Board.

The volunteer board advises Marin County Open Space District staff and  the Board of Supervisors on projects and programs that can be funded from the CSA #20 budget and affect Open Space District lands within the  boundaries of CSA #20. Indian Valley is a rural area about a half mile south of downtown Novato; Domingo Canyon includes neighborhoods off Ignacio Boulevard near the Marin Country Club.

Applicants must live within or own property within the boundaries of CSA #20 but cannot live or own property within 500 feet of the lands of the Marin County Open Space District.

Applicants must include documentation of qualifying experience with their application to the Clerk of the Board. Employees of an assessor's office within the past three years are not eligible.
