Open Seat for ‘Poor and Needy’ Representative

Applications due September 21 for spot on Buck Family Fund Board of Trustees

San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Board of Supervisors invites county residents to apply for an appointment to the Marin Community Foundation’s Buck Family Fund Board of Trustees.

The fund’s goal is to create equity of opportunity for every resident of Marin. Four key themes – Education, Health, Economic Opportunity, Environment – have been identified that are central to addressing current inequities. The Board of Supervisors is the appointing body for this position.

Qualifications for the board position are set out in the application packet and copies of the packet may be obtained in the following ways:

  • On the County of Marin website (available only in pdf format);
  • By calling the Clerk of the Board office at 415-473-7331 and requesting a packet;
  • By emailing commissions@marincounty.org;
  • By picking up a packet at the office of the Board of Supervisors, Suite 329, Marin County Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael.
