San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. February 24 for one seat on the Tamalpais Design Review Board (TDRB). The appointing authority is the Marin County Board of Supervisors.
The TDRB serves as an advisory and resource body and a liaison to the Board of Supervisors, the Community Development Agency, the Planning Commission, and the community. It reviews and comments on discretionary land use and zoning applications and community plan amendments within the Tamalpais Planning Area (which includes the Tamalpais Valley, Homestead Valley, Almonte, Muir Woods Park, and Tennessee Valley areas) that are referred by the Community Development Agency.
All TDRB members must reside in the Tamalpais Planning Area. However, one non-resident architect with special expertise relevant to the Planning Area may serve. Residents with expertise as architects, construction or design professionals, real estate agents or brokers, landscape architects, engineers, business owners, or simply someone interested in serving their community, are invited to apply.
