San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. March 31 for one vacancy on the all-volunteer Strawberry Design Review Board (SDRB). Marin County Board of Supervisors is the appointing authority.
The SDRB serves as an advisory body and liaison to the Board of Supervisors, the Community Development Agency, the Planning Commission, and the community. The SDRB reviews and comments on discretionary land use/zoning applications and community plan amendments within the Strawberry Planning Area that are referred to the SDRB by the Community Development Agency.
All SDRB members must reside in the Planning Area. In selecting new candidates for membership, every effort is made to seek qualified individuals from the neighborhoods of the Strawberry Planning Area. Those with backgrounds in architecture, construction, design, real estate, landscaping, engineering or business make for strong candidates.
