San Rafael, CA – The application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, June 9, for four at-large term expirations on the Marin County Parks and Open Space Commission.
The commission studies and recommends plans and strategies related to the acquisition, development, funding, and management of County parks and open space.
The Marin County Board of Supervisors is the appointing body. The Board is looking for demonstrated expertise and interest in subject areas and disciplines beneficial to fulfilling this mission such as:
- Education and outreach
- Natural areas preservation and management
- Recreation services and facilities
- Wellness and health care
- Philanthropy or fund raising
- Community planning and sustainability
- Financial management
