Join the First 5 Marin Children & Families Commission

At-large opening for independent government agency

San Rafael, CA - The application deadline is 5 p.m. March 4 for an at-large seat on the Marin Children and Families Commission.

The commission is an independent government agency that guides the investment of state funds in Marin County for the benefit of children up to age 5. Funding comes from the Children and Families Act of 1998, also known as Proposition 10. First 5 Marin advances opportunities for all children in Marin to enter school healthy and ready to learn and to thrive with the support of their family and community.

With this at-large seat, applicants may reside anywhere in Marin County. Apply online or learn more about the application process by calling the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at (415) 473-7331.
