Housing Survey Launched for Renters, Landlords

Share experiences online to help solve longstanding issues

San Rafael, CA – What are the challenges you’re facing in Marin County’s rental housing market? The Marin County Community Development Agency is asking renters and landlords to respond to that question in a new online survey.

County planners have designed separate surveys for renters and landlords as part of its research of ways to protect and preserve the existing rental housing stock.

After the survey results are compiled, planners will collaborate with local organizations and community stakeholders to consider solutions to the most significant barriers identified through the shared feedback.

The County created Open Marin with the nonpartisan Peak Democracy in 2013 to encourage civic engagement on important topics. County officials read the statements and incorporate them into their decision process. In addition to emails and attending meetings, Open Marin provides a way to share ideas with not only County staff but with fellow residents.

All information shared on Open Marin is subject to a strict privacy agreement.

We look forward to hearing from you!
