Register by October 19 to Vote November 3

Deadline is just days away

San Rafael, CA – With the deadline fast approaching, now is the time to register to vote in the November election. Voters can register online at www.registertovote.ca.gov or fill out and mail a voter registration form, which must be post marked on or before October 19.

Voter Registration InformationLynda Roberts, Marin County’s Registrar of Voters, encourages every unregistered eligible voter to register and participate in the November election. It will include candidates for local offices such as school districts, special districts, and town and city council members. There will be local measures on the ballot as well.

“I believe this election is very important since the candidates and measures to be voted on will directly impact Marin County residents,” Roberts said.

Not sure if you are registered to vote? Check the status of your registration by calling the registrar’s 24-hour phone line at 415-473-6456 or by going to www.marinvotes.org. You can also call 415-473-6448 to check your registration between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Postage-paid voter registration forms are available at post offices, libraries, city/town clerk offices, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Elections Office, Suite 121 of at the Marin Civic Center Administration building, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael.
