Audio Recordings of Ballot Measures Are Available

Listen to local measures on the November 3 ballot

San Rafael, CA – Audio recordings of the local measures on the ballot in Marin County for the November 3 Uniform District Election are available at the Marin County Elections Department

In addition, the Elections Department sends copies of the recordings to more than 25 organizations such as libraries, senior care facilities, and organizations that assist people with disabilities.

“Access to election information is crucial,” said Lynda Roberts, Marin County’s Registrar of Voters. “In addition to the printed voter information pamphlet, we are glad to provide these CDs for those who may prefer to listen to the information.”

Voters can call the Elections Department a 415-473-6448 to request the CD by mail, or stop by and pick one up at the Elections Department in Suite 121 of the Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael. Weekday office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Don’t forget: Information and applications have been consolidated into one online source, the new Voter Dashboard. The smartphone-friendly site implements responsive web design principles to provide an optimal experience, regardless of the voter’s device.

The Elections Department mailed more than 98,000 vote-by-mail ballots earlier this month. Voters may send them back anytime on or before Election Day on November 3 or drop them off at a polling place on Election Day.

A Uniform District Election is an election held in November of the odd year for local districts that have not consolidated their elections with the November of even-numbered years.
