San Rafael, CA -- The Marin County District Attorney's Office has issued this news release:
On October 9, 2015, a Criminal Complaint was filed for first degree murder against Morrison Haze Lampley, Sean Michael Angold and Lila Scott Alligood for the deaths of Audrey Carey on October 2, 2015, in San Francisco, California and Steve Carter on October 5, 2015, in Fairfax, California. No bail arrest warrants were obtained at that time.
The charges alleged against all three involve murder in violation of Penal Code section 187 under special circumstances which carry the potential punishment of life without the possibility of parole or death. The special circumstance allegations contained in the complaint are currently multiple murder under Penal Code section 190.2(a)(3), murder by means of lying in wait under Penal Code section190.2(a)(15) and murder while the defendants were engaged in or were accomplishes in the commission of robbery under Penal Code section 190.2(a)(17)(A). Additional charges involving robbery, unlawful vehicle taking and being in possession of a stolen vehicle, as well as being in possession of stolen property from both murder victims plus cruelty of animal charges are alleged. Defendant Morrison Haze Lampley additionally faces possession of a stolen firearm and also being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm charges.
